The Ducati Monster Tour Visits Rivington Hall Barn

E-mail Print PDF

monster_tour_rivington.jpgThe Monster Tour has been blazing a trail through some of the most beautiful settings in UK and Europe this summer as bikers test ride the new Monster 696.

The Monster 696 has now arrived at Ducati Stores around UK and Europe and to coincide with this Ducati UK welcomes the Ducati Monster Tour a live and interactive roadshow departing from Bologna in Italy and travelling the breadth of England in order to give the public a unique opportunity to test ride the new Monster 696.

A large 14 metre bespoke truck has been commissioned especially for the tour and consists of three floors and includes a hospitality area for those taking part in the test rides. The event truck also has an area dedicated to Ducati apparel and the new 2008 collection.

The latest UK leg of the tour will visit the famous biker meet at Rivington Hall Barn in Lancashire on the 12th/13th July. This venue is regarded locally as the ‘original bikers mecca in the North West of England’ and is known throughout the region as a popular bikers meeting place.

A local Ducati dealer will also be on hand to deal with any sales enquiries or book further test rides back at their dealership.

Anyone who is interested in a Ducat Monster Tour can apply in person at the truck, by registering their name (they must submit both parts of their driving licence, which is also used as proof that the applicant is over 21).The participants will then be divided into small groups and escorted on a 30-minute ride by two official Ducati testers around some of the best roads in the local vicinity.

Dates, locations and further information on the Ducati Monster Tour is available at: www.monster.ducati.com or www.ducatiuk.com
