nec_show.jpgMotorcycle and scooter enthusiasts across the UK will welcome the news that tickets for this year’s International Motorcycle and Scooter Show go on sale today (Friday 18th July). This year’s Show will take place between the 28th November and 7th December and tickets can be purchased via the ticket hotline 0844 5812345 and online at motorcycleshow.co.uk.

The long standing event looks to build on its 2007 success which saw over 149,000 visitors (3% up on the previous year) enjoy the spectacle with a dazzling array of first-ever UK motorcycle launches in a new format Show at Birmingham’s NEC.

The 2008 show will feature the largest collection of new 2009 models, with many new and returning exhibitors keen to show their latest products and services. The prestigious event continues to be the first place to see all the new machines in the UK.

Adult tickets go on sale at £15 in advance or £17 on the door with special senior, child and family concessions. Oxford Products, makers of quality luggage and biking kit, is offering an extra incentive to book early by giving a special Snug fleece neck warmer to every customer buying an advance adult ticket for £18 (to be collected at the Show).

Oxford’s NEW SNUG neck warmer is the perfect way to combat uncomfortable head and neck drafts at colder times of the year. A soft polar fleece section insulates your neck from cold drafts, while a lightweight, seamless top section provides wind protection all the way up inside your helmet. It can even be pulled over your nose to help reduce visor fogging! Available in a range of colours, RRP £12.99.

Ticket prices include access to exciting features such as the awesome Off Road Zone, Bike Ride Out Zone and live interactive shows with top racers. For more information visit www.motorcycleshow.co.uk.

Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, said,

“This year’s show looks set to have the biggest selection of manufacturers of motorcycles and scooters that we have seen for many years and reflects the diversity within biking. We believe our line-up of activities, entertainment, top racers, bikes and kit offers a genuine great day out that celebrates the best in motorcycling.
