British-owned leathers manufacturer BKS has agreed a deal with female motorcyclist Suzi Perry to design a range of ladies clothing, which will be available for sale in Frank Thomas Group dealers later this year.
The agreement with the face of MotoGP's TV coverage complements the company's decision to sponsor the only British contender in the series - James Toseland. The two Brits will have a large input into the design of products for signature ranges that make the final retail collection.
Suzi will address fashion and practical matters in the design of the clothing to ensure that female riders are able to buy well-made, flattering British motorcycle clothing. The professionalism, British heritage and quality of BKS products have tempted Suzi to become involved with the exclusive brand.
The range is already highly anticipated and will follow the launch of a limited edition collection of clothing that will be available in 52 UK dealers only in May this year. The initial small offering will include a replica of Toseland's Yamaha race suit, a one-piece suit, two-piece suit and two pairs of gloves.
